| Cadets we have received additional information
on your gaining base. Please note that some of you will be going TDY
enroute before you report to your gaining base, such as those of you attending
ASBC. Also some of you have a second gaining base
where you will start your pilot training, such as those going to Vance.
This info is in addition to the previous assignment information that you
received.

26 Feb 07 (following ASBC) complete IFS training in Pueblo, CO
11 Jun -23 Jul 07 and return to Altus start flight training at Vance 29 Nov 07
So, it looks like I'll be doing my casual at Altus AFB unless I can get them to come through with the FLIP program I'm applying for. I guess what I'm saying is that spending 6 weeks in Siberia is even better than Altus! LoL. Just pray that they'll waive in my [lack of] current Russian experience and let me go over there to the immersion program.

| "Nail the colours to the mast! That is the right thing to do, and,
therefore, that is what we must do, and do it now. What colours? The
colours of Christ, the work He has given us to do — the evangelization
of all the unevangelized. Christ wants not nibblers of the possible,
but grabbers of the impossible, by faith in the omnipotence, fidelity,
and wisdom of the Almighty Saviour Who gave the command. Is there a wall
in our path? By our God we will leap over it! Are there lions and scorpions
in our way? We will trample them under our feet! Does a mountain bar
our progress? Saying, 'Be thou cast into the sea,' we will march on.
Soldiers of Jesus! Never surrender! Nail the colours to the mast!" |
